Our Core Beliefs
St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church at Bramalea
Rooted in Truth. Transformed by Love.
At St. Paul’s, our faith is grounded in the timeless truth of God’s Word and the life-changing love of Jesus Christ. These beliefs shape everything we do—from worship to community life.
📖 The Bible
God Speaks Through His Word
We believe the Holy Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and life. Through the Bible, God reveals His truth, guides our decisions, and shapes us into followers of Christ.
✨ God the Father
Creator. Sustainer. Faithful Love.
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. He is sovereign, loving, and faithful—sustaining all creation and inviting each person into a relationship with Him.
✝️ Jesus Christ
Our Savior and King
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son and our Lord. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He lived among us and revealed God’s love.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead, and on the third day rose again, conquering sin and death.
He ascended into heaven and reigns at the right hand of the Father. One day, He will return to judge the living and the dead.
🔥 The Holy Spirit
God With Us and Within Us
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity. The Spirit unites us with Christ, transforms our hearts, and empowers us to live faithfully. He seals believers as God’s own until the day of redemption.
💧 Baptism
A Sign of New Life
We believe baptism is a sacred sign of faith that symbolizes Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. It is a public declaration of a believer’s commitment to follow Jesus and walk in new life.
🤝 The Church
A Community of Faith
We believe the Church is the living body of Christ—made up of believers who worship, serve, and grow together.
Guided by pastors, elders, and the gifts of the Spirit, we are called to:
- Share the Good News of Jesus
- Support one another in faithful living
- Seek God’s guidance in every part of life
