Within our church family, we were so glad to see Elspeth on Sunday and pray for her continued recovery.  We give thanks that Melinda and Randy have returned safely from Guyana.  As they settle in at home, we continue to pray that they are surrounded by love, strengthened by faith and sustained by God’s peace during this time of loss.

We hold Lee’s friend Peggy and her family up in prayer, asking that God envelop them in his grace and strength.

We are saddened by the passing of Irene McCowan, and she will be laid to rest on April 11th. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers—that they may find comfort in the love they shared with her and in the memories that will always remain. May God’s peace envelop them and may they feel His presence holding them close during this difficult time.

May we also remember those living in poverty, the homeless, and those who are displaced because of war and natural disasters.
With all that’s happening in the world it’s easy to become overwhelmed.  Yesterday’s prayer in the Our Daily Bread devotional reads; “Father, my heart aches for our broken world.
Help me realize Your Spirit’s presence is far more powerful than any attack the world can throw at me.”
Amen!
