With hearts full of love and concern, we lift up our dear sister Ann, who is deeply mourning the loss of her cherished Fred. May she feel the gentle embrace of the Lord’s presence, finding strength and comfort in the assurance that Fred is now at peace in His eternal care. (2025-05-26)

Our Clerk of Presbytery, Joanne Ticknor, has humbly requested our prayers for her eight-year-old granddaughter, Ella. Ella is currently at SickKids Hospital awaiting a heart transplant. Her own heart is severely damaged, and she is supported by a Berlin Heart to keep her heart functioning. She cannot leave the hospital without a transplant. Let us pray earnestly that the Lord provides healing and a new heart for Ella.

Lee is asking for prayers for her brother (Rick) and his wife (Marie). Friday, while walking their dog on the trails behind their apartment.  He tripped and broke his left arm just below the ball of his Shoulder. All the ER was able to do was place it in a type of sling with hopes to sorta immobilise it until he could see an orthopedic surgeon and sent him home.  That isn’t happening until Tuesday, May 6th. We’ve received word from Anne Prins that Cancer has reared its ugly head again in Fred and is spreading.  While both long to return to Bramalea, Fred’s current condition makes that impossible. Please pray with us for God’s comfort and peace to be their constant companion in this ‘day by day’ Journey.“ (2025-04-23)

You are invited to continue to lift up Faith, LeKan, and Ella in your prayers.

As Faith navigates a challenging season, juggling the demands of school, financial pressures, and the expectations of his family, let us pray that he continues to rely on the support systems around him.

As Lekan is in the midst of his job search, please keep him in your prayers, asking that the right opportunity presents itself soon.

Ella is adjusting to life in a new city, far from home, as she settles into a different job and community. She’s seeking a welcoming, Bible-based church family to provide connection and encouragement.                (2025-04-11)

May we also remember those living in poverty, the homeless, and those who are displaced because of war and natural disasters.
With all that’s happening in the world it’s easy to become overwhelmed.  Yesterday’s prayer in the Our Daily Bread devotional reads; “Father, my heart aches for our broken world.
Help me realize Your Spirit’s presence is far more powerful than any attack the world can throw at me.”
Amen!
