We are praising God for the successful surgery eight-year-old Ella received this summer..Her grandmother informs us that her recovery went well, and she will be back at school soon.

With hearts full of love and concern, we lift up our dear sister Ann, who is deeply mourning the loss of her cherished Fred. May she feel the gentle embrace of the Lord’s presence, finding strength and comfort in the assurance that Fred is now at peace in His eternal care.

May we also remember those living in poverty, the homeless, and those who are displaced because of war and natural disasters.
With all that’s happening in the world it’s easy to become overwhelmed. Yesterday’s prayer in the Our Daily Bread devotional reads; “Father, my heart aches for our broken world.
Help me realize Your Spirit’s presence is far more powerful than any attack the world can throw at me.”
